Paraplegics can fly - just ask - I had flown for years in years in South Africa, but was somehow highly intimidated by the rules and regulations and red tape associated with 1st world countries and in particular Australia. I really wondered whether I would be allowed to fly light aircraft here and in my persuits, I met with Stephen. He is a paraplegic confined in a wheelchair and cannot use his legs at all. I went for a fly with him in his cherokee and immediately bought one of his hand-controls which comes fully certified and very easy to install.
